The African Print Bubble Skirt You Should Own

The Society of Harlow brand was built off of vibrant colors, bold prints, and unique style. Therefore, it’s no surprise I would fall head over heels for the Maria Paulina Lima skirt. The Lima skirt is an African print bubble skirt you must own!

Update your style arsenal with bold prints, vibrant colors, and unique silhouettes.   First, let’s talk about the silhouette in the Lima skirt. It’s so different from anything that I have in my closet. Many women would shy away from a garment that adds volume to the hips; they shouldn’t.  What I love most about the structure of this skirt is the thick ban that creates a high-waist effect. Next, let’s talk print and color. With this look, I’m stepping out of my silhouette zone and color zone. Typically, I’m not the biggest fan of green, but the yellow hued print just pops off the vibrant green. Finally, the wear-ability. I plan to re-purpose this look throughout the season by adding a crop in the spring/summer or sweater for the fall/winter.

For this look, I wanted to showcase a hip street style essence to my African print bubble skirt.  The Lima skirt is the statement piece. To accentuate the black print outlines in the skirt, I styled my look with a black & bold hat, top, and booties. My shear bodysuit and boater hat gives the look a sexy hipster feel. I completed the look with my fav faux suede booties.
