As a blogger, model, and pretty teeth lover, having a brilliant white smile is key. I love to rock a bold red lip. When you wear red lipstick it either highlights your bright white teeth or highlights your stained teeth. To be honest, I’ve been noticing that my teeth were turning yellow due to my love of herbal tea, lemon water, and wine! I needed to get my teeth whitened but stayed far away because: 1) professionally whitened teeth by the dentist  can be expensive, 2) countless failed at-home teeth whitening attempts.

How does it work?

Step 1:

After ordering your Smile Brilliant Teeth Whitening System, you will receive a stunning box of products which includes:

• 2 Impression Trays: Used in combination with impression material to create mold
• 3 Sets of Impression Material (Catalyste Paste and Base): To make your own dental impressions; one for your upper row of teeth, one for your lower row of teeth, and one extra just in case you mess up.
• 2 Impression Trays: Used in combination with impression material (catalyste paste and base paste) to create mold
• Professional Lab Service: Professional dental lab will receive your impressions, create an exact model of your teeth, and fashion a truly custom-fitted tray
• Custom-fitted Teeth Whitening Trays: After your impressions are received and completed at the professional dental lab, in return you will receive 2 custom trays – 1 upper and 1 lower tray.

Step 2: 

Make your impressions at home with the catalyste paste and base paste and plastic impression trays. The kit comes with 3 sets of impression materials to make your own dental impressions; one for your upper row of teeth, one for your lower row of teeth, and one extra just in case you mess up. So you already know I had to use the extra set because I messed up [Yup, so Crystal!!]. The key is to move fast when you mix the catalyste paste and base paste together. The paste mixture hardens quickly, therefore you want to move fast so you can bite down and make your impressions. You will mail your upper and lower impressions back to the professional dental lab in the pre-paid envelope. The quick shipping and processing was amazing. Your custom-fitted trays will be created and mailed back to you within 3-5 business days.

Step 3:

Whiten & Chill. The system is beyond user friendly and comes with detailed instructions at every stage. The professional grade teeth whitening gel and desensitizing gel coupled with your custom-fitted trays are your keys to successful teeth whitening. The custom dental trays that I received fit perfectly and were very comfortable to wear.  Starting with non-toothpaste cleaned teeth, line your upper and lower trays with the whitening gel and insert the tray into your mouth. You can use the gel for anywhere between 30 minutes to 3 hours at a time. I whitened daily for about 1 hour. Next, wash your mouth and trays with warm water. I found the greatest success by performing my teeth whitening regime overnight while I was sleeping because it kept me consistent.

Teeth sensitivity is often a whitening concern. Personally, I experience low-moderate teeth sensitivity. A really good thing for those who have sensitive teeth is that in this kit you can also find a desensitizing gel that I would apply immediately  after the whitening process and keep up to 15 min and then not rinse,drink or eat for another 30 minutes.
