Prints, Pinks, Corals, and Blues, Oh My! For my second Jibri look, I wanted to create the perfect weekend look that was playful, colorful, and most importantly comfortable! This is the ideal look for all-day adventures, like brunch in your local park, shopping across your favorite boutiques, snagging a cup of frozen yogurt, and/or pizza and wine at your favorite pizza spot. I love looks like this because they are effortlessly chic. A skirt with pockets and a tee… yes please!
For this look, I paired my Jibri skater mini with an Old Navy oversized printed boat neck tee. I wanted to create an interesting contrast between the prints of my skirt and tee. The pink, coral, and blue hues in my tee paired so well with my peachy pink and tan houndstooth skirt. The colors just screams out to me, PLAY, TWIRL, JUMP!
Of course, I am on my “Jibri High” right now, but I have to call out that the highlight of this look was my Old Navy starburst oversized tee! I LOVE this tee! I wish I could let you all feel how soft, comfy, and lightweight the material is. What gives this look its effortlessly chic vibe is the fact that I’ve created an one shoulder/off the shoulder effect. Style tip: pulling your shirt down off of one shoulder is an easy and quick way to add a touch of chicness to your look! You should now that my favorite part of my body is actually my collar bone. I think it’s gorgeous! You’ve been warned, because I will show off my collar bone every chance I get lol. To complete this look I went with off white Christian Siriano snake skin pointed flats. These flats are beyond cute, comfortable, and versatile.
The creative direction behind this look was inspired by my youth and the imagery of spring and playing outside. There’s something about spring that is so effortlessly joyous, just like when we were young and played outside. [Insert throwback picture of Crystal playing outside lol. I’ll find a photo]
