Overtime: Her-Style Plus

This week’s #TripleSlayFashion series featuring Her-Style Plus truly elevated my personal journey of style. I am very thankful to have the opportunity to express myself through fashion and try different styles that don’t always fit into my personal style bubble. The Her-Style Plus bodysuit gave me endless style possibilities to be chic yet funky; modern yet unique; sophisticated yet daring. For the final look in the Her-Style Plus bodysuit series I bring to you a 9 to 5, no a 9 to 9 look! The look that works, “OVERTIME”!

Another thing you should know about me is that I’m a self-proclaimed- Convenience Fashionista. Style and fashion has never been a burden to me because, I keep it simple. I shop for pieces to wear multiple times. I don’t buy shoes that hurt my feet, RIP to all the cute shoes I had to leave at the store. Lastly, if I know that I have a casual dinner or event after work I will wear the same thing I wore to work out to my engagement. This notion is has inspired my final look in the Her-Style Plus #TripleSlayFashionSeries

As I stated in my pervious Gridlock blog post, black and white clothing will always have a sophisticated tone to it. The bold grid pattern on the bodysuit creates a bold and powerful statement. I love bodysuits because it always gives the illusion of having a shirt tucked in. I stepped outside of my personal style boundaries and paired my Her-Style Plus bodysuit with a pair of almond butter brown wide trousers with eyelet and tie. I love the look, fit, and movement of my trousers. I completed the look with matching almond butter brown closed toe gladiator heels. The perfect look to tranistion from OFFice to OFF the clock!

The creative direction behind this look was inspired by brown and black hues and lines in an office suite. I know some people are afraid to pair black and browns together, but I love the traditional vibe.
