Two Ways To Style Layers
Versatility is foundational to my personal style. I’m all about maximizing my closet staples, like coats and jackets. The beauty of this cocoon coat is its versatility. This coat can be dressed up or dressed down. I decided to style it two ways: posh and preppy and casual comfort. For my first look, I went for boarding school uniform vibes. I paired the cocoon coat with it’s ahh-mazing matching skirt. You all know that I’m obsessed with monochromatic and all-over patterned looks. I’m madly in love with the bold plaid-patterned and burnt red and orange hues. An oversized coat paired, a two-pocket mini skirt, and over-the-knee boots provides the perfect match up for an elevated preppy look.
For my second look, I wanted to embrace the essence of winter fashion elements – yummy sweaters, cute booties, and layers. Sweater dresses are a winter must-have. I opted for this stunning Scoop balloon sleeve sweater dress. I also bought this dress in black because I loved the silhouette and unique sleeves so much! Contrasting masculine and feminine styles is one of my greatest styling moves. The figure-fitting sweater dress shows off my shoulders and collarbone. I paired the sweater dress with the oversized plaid cocoon coat and hiker booties for the perfect masculine touches.
