Purchasing jeans has truly scarred me ever since my teenage years. I’ve been plus size since the age of 14. I’ve always struggled to find the perfect jeans for my body shape. Listen SOCIETY, BAE-BE… These Fashion Nova jeans are so BOMB! If I’m being honest, I’ve avoided Fashion Nova due to its over saturation of bloggers, Instagram models, and of course every celebrity-socialite. I couldn’t decipher if people were being honest about their obsession with Fashion Nova. Secondly, while I’m a frugal shopper, the quality of the clothes came into question because of their astonishing low prices.

With fall right around the corner, I started the dreaded search for jeans.  Since, I typically wear skirts and dresses, I kept my search simple. I wanted two pairs of minimal distressed jeans in a light/medium and dark wash. I purchased, with my own coin the Alyse Distressed Jeans-Medium Wash and  Lookn Good Jeans – Medium Wash.   I also bought Rust Floral Off-Shoulder Top ,  which is perfectly stunning for the fall. So,what happened after I bought my first pair of Fashion Nova jeans? I fell madly and deeply in love with them.

Why I Love My Fashion Nova Jeans

1. FIT. The fit on the Alysee Jean was truly amazing. I love my thick thighs and big butt, and  these jeans hugged EVERY curve. I felt so chic and sexy. Note that Fashion Nova clothes are in junior sizes, I ordered the 3X; I’m typically a 18/20. I’m 5’10 and the jeans fit my long legs, like what! Honestly, the best fit ever. The jeans have more of a jeggings feel (not a denim feel), which is my preference.
2. STYLE. Distressed denim will remain the top trend for jeans. Fashion Nova has every style of distressed jeans, from minimal to extreme distressing. I prefer minimal to moderate distressing. I plan to wear my jeans at least 1-2 times a week, therefore I want to keep the details at the right balance for versatility.  The Alyse Distressed Jeans-Medium Wash  was recommended to me by my blogger-boo and Fashion Nova expert Embellished Dame .  The Alyse jean is a must-have .
