In the legendary words of Drake, ” I hate to see you go, but I love to watch you leave”. #ByeFelicia Overall, 2016 has been a great year for me and I’m so thankful for the countless lessons she has taught me. I’m part of a selective group of people who loves this part of the year, the final week in December. For many people it causes great anxiety, for me it brings deep reflection and hope. I call the last week in December the “Week of Wonder”. During this time we often feel a sense of curiosity, doubt, hope, and anxiety, and it’s OK. Embrace the wonder and wear wonderful clothes!
It’s simple in the world of style and fashion; embrace the wonder and wear wonderful clothes. Find clothes that you can get lost in. This is how I feel about my dreamy blouse from Sammy Dress. There are so many elements of this blouse to fall in love with. First, the cathedral lace trim is absolutely stunning; it screams elegance and romance. You already know that I’m deeply obsessed with the off-the-shoulder trend, this is my favorite! I adore the bold black cathedral lace because it captures your eye at every angle. Second, let’s talk about the print and color. This blouse is so on trend with the large flower print. I love the dove grey, black, white, and cranberry hues. The fabric is mostly shear, thus you your skine tone will peek through. Lastly, the structure and texture is what elevates this blouse to the top spot of being my favorite off-the-shoulder blouse. This blouse is so lightweight and free, it makes you feel like you are floating. It has a high-low him that adds to the flow and grace of its movement.
I styled this look with the direction of being effortlessly chic. I wanted my blouse to be the standout piece of this look. To balance out the flow of the blouse I paired it with black skinny jeans. I completed the look with my faux suede booties.
